This renovation of the historic Spring House Tavern offers a fresh perspective to a beloved landmark, blending modern updates with a deep respect for its 300-year legacy. The redesigned porch dining venue features new windows and doors, LED lighting, and refined finishes that reflect the character of the landmark while aligning with recently updated dining areas. An ADA-compliant ramp now connects the gallery dining venue to the porch, ensuring accessibility for all guests. Furniture and materials were selected to add a contemporary touch to the space’s historic charm, with thoughtful nods to the Burns Family legacy, including black-and-white portraits of the original owner’s father. Subtle improvements to circulation and layout enhance the flow and functionality without compromising the historic atmosphere. The result is a warm, timeless space that celebrates the past while embracing the present.
